About this Project

Westpac Charter House is a 'Green' office development in the Britomart Precinct, downtown Auckland.

The building was designed in partnership with Australian architects Johnson Pilton Walker, with Peddle Thorp developing the design and detailing and carrying the project through to construction.

The ground floor includes street level retail, with office floors above which link through into 'Charter House', which was refurbished as part of this project.

The building follows Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) principles and earned a 4 star Green Star Rating using the New Zealand Green Building Council 'Greenstar' tool.

Peddle Thorp also worked on the adjacent Westpac at Takutai / Ernst & Young Building as well as the redevelopment of Takutai Square.
