About this Project

This project is a developer provided student accommodation building with a long lease tertiary institution tenant.

The concept generated provides traditional student ‘flats' in a high rise building configuration. Consideration of the ‘pastoral' care and cultural sensitivities of the contemporary student mix have generated particular responses in the interior planning.
The design is aesthetically stripped down and contemporary in nature with materials displayed simply and honestly to reflect students’ youth and creativity.

The construction systems and finishes were considered in terms of the long term reliability and cost-benefit to the operators and investors alike.

The project reflects the development of the best thinking and delivery of the managed contemporary student ‘hostel'.
