About this Project
Located at the corner of Queen and Wyndham Streets this building was built for Fay Richwhite/NZI but has for many years been referred to as the Fay Richwhite Building.
The façade is heavily modelled with bay windows with a typical floor area of approximately of 950sqm and excellent light penetration into the office floors. The entrance foyer incorporated the first suspended frameless glass assembly in New Zealand and accesses both Queen and Wyndham Streets, rising to 16 metres above Queen Street level.
The building also houses a gymnasium and associated offices and to the north of the tower, and a 25m pool opens through sliding doors to a tennis court on the western end of the pool and to a view over Queen Street on the eastern end. A remarkable view of the tower is available through the glazed roof of the pool.
